Head Unit Connection: The KIT-F150 supports iDatalink's Direct T-Harnesses (sold separately) for direct connection to select iDatalink Serial Port compatible head units (including Kenwood, JVC, Alpine, Sony, and Pioneer radios) - replacing the wiring harness that comes with your aftermarket stereo (some hardwiring may still be required). If connecting to an aftermarket head unit that does not support an iDatalink Direct T-Harness, you'll need to cut off and remove the 20-pin black connector from the KIT-F150's harness and splice each wire directly to the aftermarket radio's corresponding wire.

Flashing Module via Weblink Desktop: The iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 will need to be loaded with correct firmware before installation. The included USB cable plugs into your computer and allows you to "flash" the Maestro RR or RR2 with the appropriate firmware to prepare it for installation. Simply download Weblink Desktop (for Windows and Mac) onto your computer to access the appropriate firmware.

OEM Grade Fit & Finish Kit: The KIT-F150 OEM integration kit features a factory grade fit & finish to match the contour and color of your vehicle's dash. The kit features integrated, customizable climate control buttons. In addition, the dash kit provides recessed-mounted dual USB ports (one USB-A and one USB-C), one HDMI input, and one Aux 3.5mm input for your head unit (if applicable).

Retained Features: The follow factory features (if applicable) are retained when replacing your aftermarket head unit with a compatible iDatalink Serial Port head unit from Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, or Sony using the Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module and KIT-F150 installation kit.

• Ford Sync: Retains the Ford Sync system; including Bluetooth hands-free communication and audio streaming, as well as USB media player.
• Factory Amplifier: Retains factory amplifier with amplifier turn-on, fader, DSP settings, and gain adjustment.
• Climate Display & Control: Climate display and control can be done through the aftermarket radio's touchscreen monitor. Climate control buttons and dials are also found on the dash kit.
• Steering Wheel Controls: Retains factory steering wheel controls with standard or expanded radio functions, plus two functions on each button.
• Advance Camera Features: Factory backup camera is retained with parking guidelines with visual park assist. The factory 360 camera is also retained for cargo bed and trailer hitch viewing. If you add an aftermarket front camera (sold separately) to your idatalink compatible head unit that is equipped with multiple camera inputs, the vehicle's factory auto camera switching feature is also retained.
• Secondary Vehicle Display: Secondary vehicle display is retained (if factory equipped) with internal navigation information.

Note: When installing an aftermarket head unit without the iDatalink Serial Port, only steering wheel control and amplifier turn-on on are retained.

Extra Features: The following Extra features are added when replacing your aftermarket head unit with a compatible iDatalink Serial Port head unit from Kenwood, JVC, Pioneer, Sony, or Alpine using the Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module and KIT-F150 installation kit.

• Vehicle Info: Tire Pressure Display, Battery Voltage Display, Read/Reset Engine Codes, and Door Open Status with Warning.
• Gauges: Selectable Performance Gauges, "Track Pack" Gauges, and Read/Reset Check Engine Codes.

Outputs: The KIT-F150 provides Navigation, Accessory Power, and Illumination Outputs to make installation simpler.

• Navigation: Parking Brake, Reverse Light, and VSS (Vehicle Speed Sense).
• Accessory Power Output: 12V/15A Accessory Power Output
• Illumination Output: Illumination Output

• allows you to install an aftermarket double-DIN radio in your F-150 (also requires the Maestro ADS-MRR module)
• ADS-MRR module (sold separately) is required to complete installation and retain steering wheel controls
