Nylas Basket: The speaker frame is made of Nylas, a composite mix of Nylon and Fiberglass, providing strength and stability.

Rubber Spider: Durability is further improved by the Santoprene rubber spider Wet Sounds developed for their marine speakers.

Terminals: The set screw terminals offer easy connection of bare wire up to 10 gauge. A 2.5mm Allen wrench (not included) is needed to tighten the terminals. (Even though there is only one voice coil, there are two positive and two negative terminals shorted together, making it easy to wire a second sub in parallel.)

Infinite-Baffle Operation: The sub is optimized for infinite baffle operation so that it can be installed in a variety of locations, without the need for a dedicated enclosure. If mounted in an enclosure, Wet Sounds recommends 1.3 ft³ sealed.
