Marine Tested: Rockford Fosgate uses industry standard tests (ASTM B117 salt/fog and ASTM G154 UV) to ensure the M2 series subwoofers are durable in the difficult marine environment.

Impedance Switch: A switch on the input terminal allows you to easily change the subwoofer's impedance between 1Ω and 4Ω, internally changing between wiring the dual 2Ω voice coils in parallel and in series. (The connected amplifier should be off when changing the impedance.) The power handling is the same for either setting; 400 watts RMS/1600 watts peak.

Infinite-Baffle Operation: The sub is optimized for infinite-baffle operation (free air), so it can be installed in a variety of locations, without the need for a dedicated enclosure.
