Head Unit Connection: The KIT-CHA1 supports iDatalink's Direct T-Harnesses (sold separately) for direct connection to select iDatalink Serial Port compatible head units (including Kenwood, JVC, Alpine, Sony, and Pioneer radios) - replacing the wiring harness that comes with your aftermarket stereo (some hardwiring may still be required). If connecting to an aftermarket head unit that does not support an iDatalink Direct T-Harness, you'll need to cut off and remove the 20-pin black connector from the KIT-CHA1's harness and splice each wire directly to the aftermarket radio's corresponding wire.

Factory Grade Dash Kit: The KIT-CHA1's dash kit features a factory grade fit & finish to match the contour and color of your Dodge Charger/Challenger's or Chrysler 300's dash. Two dash kits are included to accommodate replacement of a factory installed radio featuring a 5", 7", or 8" screen. The dash kit will fit select Double-DIN Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, & Pioneer aftermarket radios with an iDatalink Serial Port.

Retained Features: The follow factory features (if applicable) are retained when replacing your aftermarket head unit with a compatible iDatalink Serial Port head unit from Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, or Pioneer using the Maestro RR or RR2 car radio replacement interface module and KIT-CHA1 installation package.

• Factory Amplifier: Retains factory amplifier with turn-on, fader, gain, & DSP control, as well as speed compensated volume.
• Climate Display & Control: The factory climate display and control can be accessed from the touchscreen of your compatible iDatalink aftermarket head unit.
• Vehicle Settings: Access and modify factory vehicle settings through the compatible aftermarket head unit's touchscreen.
• Secondary Vehicle Display: Secondary vehicle display is retained (if factory equipped) with audio information, hands-free information, and internal navigation.
• Steering Wheel Controls: Factory steering wheel controls are retained with two function buttons and expandable radio functions.
• Backup Camera with Park Assist: Factory backup camera is retained with dynamic parking guidelines and park assist chimes (external chime module may be required); your aftermarket head unit must have a composite video rearview camera input. If you add an aftermarket front and/or side camera (sold separately) to your iDatalink compatible head unit that is equipped with multiple camera inputs, the vehicle's factory auto camera switching feature is also retained.
• RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment): You'll be able to continue to control the vehicle's rear seat entertainment (RSE) system through your compatible iDatalink aftermarket head unit's touchscreen.

Media Hub: The KIT-CHA1 comes with a USB/Aux module that replaces the factory OEM media module. The included media module provides dual USB ports (one USB-A and one USB-C), and one Aux 3.5mm input for your head unit (if applicable). The media module's USB-A, USB-C and Aux inputs will plug into the corresponding rear USB and Aux inputs on the rear of your compatible head unit. Because the media module makes a direct connection to your head unit's USB-A or USB-C ports, CarPlay and Android Auto are supported through your new aftermarket stereo (if equipped).

Extra Features: The following Extra features are added when replacing your aftermarket head unit with a compatible iDatalink Serial Port head unit from Kenwood, JVC, Pioneer, Sony, or Alpine using the Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module and KIT-CHA1 installation kit.

• Vehicle Info: Tire Pressure Display, Battery Voltage Display, Read/Reset Engine Codes, and Door Open Status with Warning.
• Gauges: Selectable Performance Gauges, "Track Pack" Gauges, and Read/Reset Check Engine Codes.

Outputs: The KIT-CHA1 provides Navigation, Accessory Power, and Illumination Outputs to make installation simpler.

• Accessory Power Output: 12V/15A Accessory Power Output
• Illumination Output: Illumination Output

• allows you to install an iDatalink-compatible shallow-depth double-DIN radio in your Chrysler-built vehicle
