Woofer Cones: The Kicker KS Series speakers feature durable polypropylene woofer cones, resistant to the temperature extremes and moisture found in automotive applications.

Dome Tweeter/Midrange: The ¾" silk dome tweeter and 1" silk dome midrange provide smooth mid and high frequency response. Silk is lightweight and great for high frequency extension and efficiency. Both have neodymium magnets.

Crossovers: The included speaker wire has an in-line crossover. The three female quick slides on the output end of the wire attached to the crossover plug onto the three terminals on the speaker (0.11", 0.187" and 0.25"). A note on each crossover states they must be used. (If the crossovers are not used, the tweeters will be damaged very quickly.)

6x9 Spacers: The included 6x9 spacers can be used to adjust the speakers' depth when top or bottom mounting. The adjusted measurements become:

  • Tweeter Protrusion: 0.0"

Multipurpose Brackets: In addition to fitting standard 6x9 applications, Kicker includes a pair of mounting brackets to install the speakers in several vehicle-specific applications. Please enter your vehicle information to confirm fit.
