LC5iPRO

Line Output Converter: The AudioControl LC5i PRO is an active line output converter that accepts up to four channels of speaker-level signal from the factory source unit (or amplifier) and converts it to a high quality, low-noise, pre-amp level signal that can be fed to amplifiers and speakers.

AccuBass: The AudioControl LC5i PRO features AccuBass, a patent pending process to correct the bass roll-off common in many factory installed audio systems. AccuBass bass compensation can be set to work at any volume level.

Four Channel Speaker-Level Input: The LC5i PRO features two pair of speaker-level inputs, compatible with nearly any factory stereo system. They will accommodate a signal up to 400 watts (40 volts). Each input has a removable captive-screw terminal (Euroblock/Phoenix) for easy connection. The terminal blocks will accommodate wire up to 12-gauge.

Channel Summing: The LC5i PRO has the ability to combine two pair of input channels from the factory source unit into two channels. This is handy when the factory system has actively crossed-over subwoofer and main speaker signals sent from the source unit or amplifier(s). You can combine those signals to get a high-quality, full-range, pre-amp signal without the use of any additional cables or hardware.

Signal Bus: Each pair of input channels has a Signal Bus switch, allowing you to direct which input feeds each output.

Power Connections: The power/ground/remote in/remote out connections are on a removable captive-screw terminal (Euroblock/Phoenix) for easy connection. The terminal block will accommodate wire up to 12-gauge.

Load Select: A slide-switch lets you select one of three input loads to best match the factory system, preventing it from muting the output with no load detected.

• 20Ω: Best suited for late model Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep/RAM/Fiat vehicles with a non-amplified OEM sound system.
• 60Ω: Best suited for late model Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep/RAM/Fiat vehicles with an amplified, or "Premium", sound system.
• 20kΩ: Used for most other vehicle applications.

Trigger Mode: There are three methods of turning the LC5i PRO on, via a 3-position slide switch:

• GTO (Great Turn On) Signal Sense: This turn-on method can sense a DC offset when the factory radio is powered on.
• Audio: Activates when a sound source is played, regardless of factory radio already being powered on.
• Remote In: Uses the "traditional" method of activation, with a +12V input on the Remote In terminal.

Ground Isolation Switch: Three signal-ground options are provided for eliminating grounding noise problems:

• GND: Power ground and audio ground are tied together.
• ISO: Power ground and audio ground are separated.
• 200Ω: Provides 200Ω resistance between power ground and audio ground.

Output Level: The +/- 15 dB output level allows you to adjust the head unit's voltage to the top of your amp's input range; up to 9.5 volts RMS. Each of the three pair of RCA outputs has its own level adjustment.

Maximized Light: Each pair of output channels has a Max light to help maximize the output voltage without distorting the signal.

Remote Output: The +12 volt DC remote output will trigger an amp to turn on whenever the LC5i PRO is on.

Remote Level Control: An ACR-1 wired remote is included to adjust the bass output (channel-3 outputs) from the front seat.

Note: The ACR-1 won't increase the Bass Output level past where the top-panel Bass Output Level dial is set, preventing overloading of the output signal.
