Powersports Ready: Made specifically for Powersports, the Kicker KBTR Bluetooth receiver brings Bluetooth audio streaming, USB MSC playback, and an Aux input to your ATV, UTV, XTV, motorcycle, or other recreational-type vehicle.

Mounting Options: The KBTR Bluetooth receiver requires a rectangular cutout and fits most factory OEM double-switch knockouts. Integrated clips help to secure the unit in the mounting hole opening.

IP66-Rated: The Kicker KBTR Bluetooth receiver is IP66-rated, making it water resistant and dust tight. The unit can withstands strong jets of water from any direction and is completely sealed against dust and debris.

• The KBTR is only water resistant and not waterproof. It should not be submerged into water or any other liquid.
• The KBTR is not salt and UV resistant, so it does not carry a Marine certification rating.

Bluetooth Audio Streaming: The Kicker KBTR features built-in Bluetooth with support for wireless audio streaming (A2DP) and control (AVRCP). You'll be able to wirelessly stream stored music, music apps, and other audio content from your smartphone or tablet to the Powersports Ready receiver. You'll also be able to basic playback function such a Play/Pause, Volume Up/Down, and Previous/Next Track. Advanced music browsing and display of song/artist information will still need to be done from your Bluetooth source device.

• You can pair multiple Bluetooth devices with the KBTR, but only one source device can be connected and used for playback at a time.
• The unit has a 60' wireless Bluetooth range.

Note: The KBTR does not support Bluetooth hands-free communication for making and answering phone calls.

USB Port: There is a rear-panel USB-A port (attached via 7" cable) that allows for connection of a USB MSC (Mass Storage Class) device such as a USB thumbrive (sold separately). The unit supports playback of MP3 music files on a compatible USB MSC device. You can operate Play/Pause, Previous/Next Track, and Fast Forward/Rewind from the unit's front-panel. The USB-A port is rated at 5V/1A and can be used to charge the battery of smaller USB-enabled devices.

Note: The USB-A port does not support Apple iOS and Android OS devices, or USB hubs and card-readers.

Aux Input: A rear-panel Aux input allows you to connect practically any external audio device with an analog output or headphone jack. The rear-panel Aux input consists of a set of stereo RCA jacks. If your playback device is equipped with a stereo minijack connector then you'll need a stereo RCA-to-minijack adapter cable.

Line Out: The Kicker KBTR receiver is equipped with a stereo RCA line output (4V) for connection to an external amplifier.

Note: The KBTR is not equipped with a built-in amplifier and will require separate amplifier (sold separately) to power your speakers.

Sub Out: The KBTR is outfitted with two subwoofer RCA outputs (4V) for connecting a powered subwoofer or subwoofer amplifier. The subwoofer RCA outputs feature a built-in lowpass crossover (fixed 100Hz @ 12db/oct) and offer independent subwoofer volume control in relation to the unit's overall volume level.

Front-Panel Controls: The Kicker KBTR features 6 push-button controls and a 3-way rotary to operate the Powersports Ready receiver. The 3-way rotary knob controls volume up/down and mute on/off. The 6 push-buttons operate power on/off, play/pause, previous/next track, fast forward/rewind, and sub level up/down.

• This unit does not support a wireless or wired remote control.
• The KBTR does not feature a front-panel display.

Wiring Harness: The included wiring harness will require a hardwire connection to +12V accessory (red), chassis ground (black), and remote amp turn-on (blue). The +12V accessory power lead has an in-line 5A mini-ATC fuse and holder.
